Fiery Dino Piranha is the boss of Melty Molten Galaxy. It is seen in the third and final level of the galaxy, and it must be defeated in order to earn a Power Star. It is almost identical to Dino Piranha except with a different color scheme and the ability to shoot fireballs. It must be hit four times with it's own tail to be defeated.

Fiery Dino Piranha, along with Dino Piranha, King Kaliente, Major Burrows and Bouldergeist returned in Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the Boss Blitz Galaxy.
